Consumers have been advised to check if they have bought pizzas with the following date stamps:

  • Ham & Pineapple Family Pizza 500g - Best Before April 2025 097
  • BBQ Chicken & Pineapple Family Pizza 500g - Best Before April 2025 097 and April 2025 098

The pizzas were available for sale in all states at Woolworths and independent retailers including IGA.

They were available at Coles and ALDI in NSW, the ACT, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.

In Queensland and South Australia they were available at Drakes.

Pizzas should be returned to the point of purchase to receive a full refund.

WATCH: Why does food get recalled?

Food Standards Australia has warned people not to eat affected pizzas as consumption of the metal may cause illness or injury.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
