Two men have been charged following an "out-of-control" hooning event attended by a Sydney YouTuber.

Three police cars were damaged in Logan, on Brisbane's southern outskirts, as police responded to a gathering of about 350 people on March 9.

WATCH: Queensland Police are appealing for information to identify several people as they investigate a large hooning event.

Police released footage of a shirtless man kicking in the door of a police vehicle and other men they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.

Sydney-based YouTuber Spanian was in the suburb as part of his "Into The Hood" series, visiting "notorious" towns around Australia.

He posted about news coverage the event was getting to his half-a-million Instagram followers.

"Ay, lads, we're still shooting the video - we're halfway through the Logan video... and we're on the news," he said, showing a news clip playing on a phone.

It took multiple police crews including specialist police two hours to bring the event under control on Bourke St, Waterford West, according to a Queensland Police spokesperson.

"No one was injured and one person has been taken into custody," the spokesperson said.

On March 10 police arrested two men after separate search warrants in the area.

A Waterford man, 20, has been charged with wilful damage of police property, committing public nuisance, entering an occupied police vehicle and participating in a hoon event.

A Park Ridge man, 18, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, participating in a group activity for racing, burn out or other hooning offences and evasion.

Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing to the public to submit information to Crime Stoppers by calling 1800 333 000 or online at crimestoppersqld.com.au
